A CHANGE FOR A BETTER FUTURE

Get Out And Vote!
My name is Ernie Leyba and thanks for visiting my website. I have made a critical decision to run for Sheriff of Forsyth County. I have a strong desire to serve this community.
When elected, I look forward to building a professional, dedicated law enforcement presence that serves all of the residents of Forsyth County. My dedication will improve the quality of safety for the citizens who live here. It is my goal to make the safety of our county the forefront of my campaign, as well as my mission statement.
It is you the people who make our county great, and I will dedicate my service to first and foremost.
Today We Change Everything!
To improve the quality of life for the citizens of this community we must find ways to enhance the level of trust in the county that we serve. We can accomplish this by being more accountable and accessible to the citizens. I believe that we can be more responsive to their concerns and their needs. We will hold monthly town meetings, where citizens have a chance to speak freely about their concerns.
Educating and working with neighborhoods and business owners to create a safer, stronger Forsyth County through hands-on, ground-level community policing will improve statistical positive outcomes.
Increasing the amount of news releases, and educational awareness programs by having officers do presentations to these venues will connect your citizens to their roles in safer communities and in school safety. Public up-to-date information will be provided daily on current and recent crimes that are in the area, as well as, the correct ways to report them. I would work cooperatively with media sources highlighting recent arrests, crimes investigated, department functions, and programs hosted by the Sheriff’s office.
Integrity
I will combine sound fiscal, employment, and training policies with transparency, fairness, and accountability. There will be an increased the level of protection and service to Forsyth County through innovation, collaboration, and efficiency.
